
Ministry of Health (MOH)'s Assistant Undersecretary for Training and Planning Dr. Mohammed Amin Al-Awadhi patronised the committee meeting of Arab Board's Pediatric-Psychiatry Programme.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Lebanon, Egypt, Bahrain and Britain participated in the meeting.
The founding committee of Pediatric Psychiatry amongst other matters discussed training requirements, and the Arab Board application form for training programme through the paper presented by Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari.
The agenda of the meeting included designation of centres anticipated to participate in the training, a review of membership terms and conditions and an initial visualisation of the examination and assessment process.
Following the meeting's conclusion, the members of the committee visited the Pediatric-Psychiatric Unit at the Psychiatric Hospital to familiarise themselves with the medical services provided there.
