
Director of Aleppo Health Department said on Tuesday that a new shipment of medicine and medical equipment from the Health Ministry was delivered to the province.
In a statement to SANA, Director, Mohammad Hazouri, clarified that the shipment, which is the 5th shipment delivered this year, includes advanced medical equipment and qualitative medicine.
He added that the province has medical storage enough for six months, pointing out that all hospitals and healthcare centers are ready around the clock to serve the residents of Aleppo and offer medical care to them.
In the same context, Hazouri said that the medical industry in Aleppo has been affected by the current crisis after it witnessed huge prosperity during the past years.
8 medical factories got out of service due to the crisis while 25 factories are operating with varying percentage, he added.
He pointed out that about 85% of medicines are available in the local market of Aleppo.
