"The new range of drugs of the Algerian laboratory El Kendi, inaugurated on September 28 by Minister of Health Abdelmalek Boudiaf, has been put into service on Thursday and will produce seven therapeutic classes, including immunosuppressant, antineoplastic, and hypotensive," the laboratory's production manager, Meziane Bentahar, told reporters.

The production capacity of the plant has been increased two-fold to reach 13 million tablets, according to Bentahar.
