4 admitted to hospital in food poisoning case in Jordan

Four members of a family were admitted to the Mafraq Government Hospital after they suffered food poisoning in the Northern Badia region, according to hospital's director Dr. Smeir Mashaqbeh.
He said the four were received at the emergency ward of the public hospital, after they had consumed contaminated food that had expired and was not properly stored.
The hospital director said that the four patients were later discharged after being administered proper treatment. He called upon the citizens to abide by all safety standards governing storage of food in order to avoid such incidents of poisoning.
