At least eleven cases of patients suffered with dengue fever have been reported during the last two days at different hospitals of the city. According to the Sindh Dengue Surveillance Cell report, as many as 113 people have been affected with dengue viral infection during the year, so far only in Karachi, the Indpendent News of Pakistan reported. Dr Shakil Malik told media that the mosquito causing the dengue fever becomes active in the area where the temperature is relatively high. The doctors have advised the people to get anti-mosquito spray; close windows from mosquitoes could enter home, cover all food items and cover water pots to avoid the disease to spread.
