A 10-year-old girl in Colombia delivered a baby girl by C-section. She was 39 weeks into pregnancy when she fisrt consulted a doctor, reported Daily Mail. hailing from a remote Colombian Wayuu tribe in the country's north, th child went to the doctor because she was suffering from severe pain. Both mother and daughter are said to be doing fine following the operation. The baby's father is not identified yet. However, local media say he could be anything between 16 and 30 years of age. A newborn child, which was abandoned on the streets in Kafr Hata of Sidon area in Lebanon, was killed by stray dogs. The canines ate parts of the baby girl's body and dragged the remains a long way before dumping it, reported 'Al Rai' newspaper. Forensic experts said the baby would not be more than a day old. Investigations are on to identify the parents of the baby. A 12-year-old Saudi girl tried to commit a suicide by taking a large quantity of pills after her family refused her request to stage a birthday party for her. Doctors at the hospital in the eastern province of Qatif raced against time to save the girl’s life after she was rushed in by her family. The girl was in her room when her family heard her scream of pain before she fell unconscious. Her parents had asked her about the pain but she refused to reply. “Doctors said her condition is stable now….police were told she attempted to commit a suicide after her parents refused to hold a birthday party for her,” the Saudi Arabic language daily Kabar said.
