Ten virus c patients started on Thursday a Sovaldi medication course at the viral hepatitis center in Benha.
According to the head of the center, Dr. Gamal Majed, as many as 6,410 out of 9,400 patients were registered on the waiting list.
Another ten patients will receive new dozes next week, Majed said, adding that the patients receive the drug according to prior medical test conducted in coordination with the National Committee for the Control of Viral Hepatitis (NCCVH).
