Yemeni Foreign Minister Riyad Yassin left Cairo Monday for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, winding up a visit to Egypt during which he held talks with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry.

Speaking to the press after his meeting with Shoukry, Yassin said Cairo and Sanaa share views regarding the situation in Yemen.

Egypt will be sending aid jets to Yemen and will be receiving some of the injured Yemenis, Yassin said.

The two top diplomats also agreed to activate joint protocols and deals.

During his stay in Cairo, Yassin also met with Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby and posted him on the latest developments in Yemen.
