Luxor - Arab Today

Vice President of World Bank Kyle Peters and his accompanying delegation arrived in Luxor to visit the projects funded by the bank.

He was received by Luxor Governor Mohamed Badr and other officials.

Upon arrival, Peters visited Bayada center to check on the activities of Takaful and Karama program.

Takaful and Karama program is being developed as a national targeted social safety net (SSN) program aimed at protecting the poor through income support. 

He also visited a project of renovating and maintaining a school in Bayada along with an environmental cleaning project in the city.
