US Under Secretary of State arrives in Cairo

US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman arrived on Monday in Cairo on a two-day visit. Recently, Sherman participated in the US-Russian meeting held on Wednesday in Geneva to discuss preparations for Geneva II conference. AL-UN envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi and UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman have also attended the meeting that tackled the latest developments of the Syrian crisis amid a military escalation from pro-regime forces.
