Speaker attends consultative meeting in Cairo

Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla attended the consultative meeting of the heads of Arab Parliaments in Cairo.
The Speaker is leading Bahrain’s legislative delegation to the 19th meeting of the Arab Inter-parliamentary Union (AIU) Executive Committee and the 23th (AIU) Conference, scheduled to start tomorrow.

The delegation includes MPs Jamal Suleiman and Khalifa Mohammed Al-Ghanim, Shura Council members Hala Ramzi Fayez and Ahmed Ibrahim Behzad, Legal Consultative Authority Chairman Dr. Saleh Al-Ghathith.

The Speaker stressed the pivotal role of parliaments in addressing key issues of concern to the Arab nation highlighting Bahrain’s keenness on unified pan-Arab stances in regional and international arenas.
