Southern Municipality to mark National, Accession Days

Under the patronage of the Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, the Southern Municipality will tomorrow hold a massive festival at the Khalifa Grand Park from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
The festivity is part of the Kingdom's celebrations of the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 46th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 18th Anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne.
The event will feature an operetta by school students, including patriotic songs, as well as Bahraini Arda shows.
The festival will allocate corners for handicrafts using recycled materials, folk games, productive families and drawing.
The Southern Municipality extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, and the Bahraini people on the glorious National Day and the Anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne
