Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Monday a phone call from Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi who hailed the level of relations maintained by Italy and Egyp.

The premier also discussed with the president means of fostering bilateral relations in all fields, Presidency Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.

During the phone call, Sisi also hailed relations between the two countries and pointed out at Egypt's keenness to boost ties with Italy in all fields, including regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Sisi and Renzi also asserted the importance of coordination with regard to anti-terror efforts as well as regional issues of mutual concern, especally in Libya.
