President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday conferred with the prime minister and the defense, foreign, interior, health, justice, and public business sector ministers as well as the heads of the intelligence service and Administrative Control Authority.
Sisi hailed efforts exerted by the Armed Forces and police in protecting the nation and civilians as well as purging Sinai of terrorist groups. The meeting tackled efforts to confront terrorism in Sinai .
They also reviewed the presidential initiative “Future Technology Pioneers” to train youths on the latest technologies in which the president directed to support such initiatives.
Meanwhile, the prime minister reviewed efforts to remove encroachments on public property as well as measures taken to implement the national plan aiming at supplying natural gas to houses.
The meeting also discussed preparations for the president’s upcoming visit to France as well as the implementation of joint cooperation projects between Egypt, Cyprus and Greece ahead of the trilateral meeting expected to be held in Nicosia in November.
