Egypt Today, egypt today Salam denies media`s allegations

Beirut - Nna
Member of Parliament Tamam Salam vehemently denied Iranian media allegations that he criticized Saudi Arabia's positions. In a statement by his media office, Salam said some Iranian news web sites in English language fabricated an interview with the MP in which he allegedly criticized the positions of Saudi Arabia. "All these reports are pure fabrications and lies because Salam was never interviewed by any Iranian news media or journalist. The MP has never contacted the journalist who claimed to have made the interview," the statement said. It stressed that these allegations are nothing more than a cheap and suspicious attempt to embroil MP Salam in positions against the kingdom, adding that it is common knowledge that Salam has historic and close ties with Saudi Arabia.
