President Abdel Fattah El Sisi congratulated on Sunday the national football team and the Egyptian people on qualifying to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
In a statement by the presidency, Sisi praised the performance of the players and the coaching staff in the qualifiers. The president also appreciated the Egyptian fans who supported their national team.
On Monday, Sisi received the national team at Ittihadiyah presidential palace.
Also, the president inaugurated the International Conference Center in the Fifth Settlement district of New Cairo.
After the inauguration of Al Manarah International Conference Center, Sisi listened to a detailed explanation on the structure of the center which is established on an area of 10,000 cubic meters. He made a tour at the various facilities at the center.
Sisi inspected an art exhibition for the Veteran Warriors Society at the International Center. The president attended a cultural symposium at the new international conference center.
