PM opens institute of national planning after development

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail attended the opening ceremony of the Institute of National Planning (INP), after its development.

The opening ceremony was also attended by presidential adviser for economic affairs Kamal el Ganzouri, Planning Minister Ashraf el Araby along with a host of ministers, including local development, environment, social solidarity, trade and industry, finance and investment as well as the Cairo governor and the head of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

Earlier, a law no. 13 for year 2015 was issued to regulate the INP in its capacity as the research arm of the Ministry of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform and the body assigned to offer the necessary technical and training support to raise efficiency of planning cadres nationwide.
