Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim on Thursday received an official invitation from his Iraqi counterpart Salim Al-Jabouri to visit Baghdad.
This came during Al-Ghanim's meeting here with Iraqi Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Hussein Bahr Al Uloum who delivered the invitation in a written message.
Al-Ghanim expressed all MPs' gratitude to Al-Jabouri and thanked him for the invitation, stressing that he would visit Iraq as soon as possible.
Last October, Al-Jabouri visited Kuwait and held meetings with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Al-Ghanim.
