Obama pays respects at Gandhi memorial

US President Barack Obama on Sunday visited Raj Ghat to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi at the final resting place of the Father of the Nation, according to ABC News.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power, Coal and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal accompanied President Obama who laid wreath at the memorial.
Both Obama and Piyush Goyal paid floral tribute to the Father of the Nation.
Earlier in the day, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama landed in New Delhi for their three-day visit of India.
