New UAE Ambassador to Ethiopia presents credentials

Ambassador of the UAE to Ethiopia, Ghazi Abdullah Al Mahri, has presented his credentials to Ethiopian State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Taye Atske-Selassie, in a meeting at the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Al Mahri conveyed greetings of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, to Ethiopian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

He expressed the UAE's interest in promoting relations with Ethiopia and noted that cooperation between the two counties is making progress.

The pair discussed ways of promoting bilateral relations to serve the interests of the UAE and Ethiopia and their peoples and find more opportunities to achieve their common goals.

Minister Atske-Selassie congratulated Ambassador Al Mahri on his new appointment. He commended the outstanding relations between Ethiopia and the UAE in all political and economic spheres.

The Ethiopian minister also expressed thanks and appreciation for the UAE's help to his country.
