HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, Honorary President of the Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), and HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, President of BREEF, have followed the qualifying race of the new endurance season. The race covered distances of 80km and 40km and witnessed the participation of a large pool of competitors from both genders, representing local studs. 
On this occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser said that the qualifying race for the new season was strong at all stages with the participation of many elite individuals, who performed to the highest standards and made the race an exciting event. HH Shaikh Nasser expressed his pleasure to see many young faces were taking part in the race, which confirms that the Kingdom is able to produce fresh blood in this sport to continue the march of progress in this game, in which the Kingdom of Bahrain has established many achievements in the past years. Furthermore, HH Shaikh Nasser predicted the upcoming races would showcase strong competition following the performances appeared in the qualifying race, expressing satisfaction with the results obtained by the participants in the event.
