Nahyan bin Mubarak opens 4th International Conference

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, today inaugurated the 4th International Conference of Sports for Women, ICSW, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC.
The two-day conference is being held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, under the theme, "Inspiring Generations".
The opening ceremony was attended by a large number of officials and those interested in sports affairs in general, and women's sports in particular.
This year ICSW will be focusing on a variety of important topics around the central conference theme of Inspiring Generations. Topics which represent critical barriers to participation in sports for women will be discussed, and the conference will also provide thought-leadership on key issues around women in sports.
