
Moroccan King Mohammed VI arrived in Beijing on Wednesday along with his accompanying delegation on a two-day official visit to China.
Chinese President Xi Jinping received the Moroccan king at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing where he was given a red-carpet reception, according to the Moroccan official news agency.
During the visit, the Moroccan and Chinese leaders will hold official talks and attend the signing ceremony of various bilateral agreements.
King Mohammed VI is also scheduled to confer with a number of Chinese senior officials.
Meanwhile, a Moroccan-Chinese strategic partnership is expected to be launched during the visit.
