Beirut - KUNA
Lebanon's Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi denounced here tonight a US-made movie mocking the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) as insulting all religions, not only Islam. Speaking to reporters ahead of flying to India, he said: "This film has mocked not only Islam and its prophet but all religions, including Christianity, as well." Calling for preventing the recurrence of such blasphemous movies, the Lebanese patriarch urged the UN to take action against such films as "world peace is linked to the respect of God and religions". Several Muslim countries have strongly responded to a US-made film blaspheming the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Islam.
