
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday said that the issue of resuming flights to Egypt has witnessed progress.
"We are discussing the resumption of direct flights between the two countries on a constant basis," Lavrov said during a press conference with his visiting Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry.
The Russian foreign minister pointed out to progress achieved by experts working on solving the issue.
Prospects of resuming direct flights will be crystal clear soon, Lavrov was quoted by Russian news agency Sputnik as saying.
