King congratulated by Labour minister

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from the Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, marking Bahrain’s election as a full-fledged member at the Governing Body of thente Irnational Labour (ILO) Office for the period 2017–20.
The minister extended deepest congratulations to HM the King for the Kingdom’s winning the regular membership at ILO’s governing body, noting that the achievement was one of the fruits of the reform project and the Government-led dedicated efforts.
“The kingdom’s election as a regular ILO governing body member follows its success as a deputy member for the period 2014-17”, he said.
The minister renewed, on behalf of the kingdom’s delegation to the 106th Session of the International Labour Conference, commitment to continuing fruitful cooperation with social partners –workers and employers.
