Justice Minister Ahmed el Zend returned home Friday after a visit to Tunisia, where he took part in the Fourth Arab Forum for Stolen Asset Recovery.

During the forum, Zend said that Egypt made all efforts to recover its stolen assets.

After five years of hard work at local and international levels, Egypt believes that the file is fraught with many difficulties, the minister said.

He added that the Egyptian government is determined to recover the country's stolen assets.

Justice ministers from Lebanon, Jordan, Morocco and Tunisia, as well as general prosecutors from Qatar, Switzerland and Russia also took part in the forum.
