Justice min. accepts resignation of judge over drug possession charge

Justice Minister Hossam Abdel Rehim has accepted the resignation of a judge who was charged with possessing a large quantity of illegal drugs, the Justice Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
The resigned judge was arrested while he was passing through Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel coming from Sinai, the statement added.
He was referred to the prosecution for interrogation, according to the statement.
