Israel PM: Any peace deal will go to referendum

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday during a meeting with the Swiss foreign minister that any peace deal reached with the Palestinians would be put to a popular referendum. "If we get to a peace agreement with the Palestinians, I'd like to bring it to a referendum. And I'd like to talk to you about your experiences with that," Netanyahu told Didier Burkhalter, according to a statement from the premier's office.
