Iraqi planning minister arrives in Cairo ahead of AL ministerial meeting

Iraqi Minister of Planning Salman al Jumaili arrived here on Wednesday to participate in the 99th ordinary session of the Arab League (AL) Economic and Social Council at the ministerial level, to kick off on Thursday.
The meeting comes in preparation for the upcoming Arab Summit, scheduled to be held in March in Jordan.
The 99th session of the council commenced on Wednesday morning at the level of senior officials.
Chaired by Algeria, the session was held at the AL headquarters in the presence of high-level officials at the ministries of trade, industry and finance in Arab States.
