Grand Imam urges students to disseminate moderate thought

Grand Imam Sheikh Ahmed el Tayyeb honored Tuesday Al Azhar's top students in an official ceremony attended by House of Representatives Speaker Ali Abdel Aal.
During the ceremony, El Tayyeb said that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi counts on Al Azhar's students to disseminate moderate Islamic thought and eradicate extremism and terrorism.
He said more than two million students from Egypt and across the world have graduated from this leading institution.
