Foreign minister bids farewell to US ambassador

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received today at his office in the Ministry's General Court, US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, William V. Roebuck, on the occasion of the end of his term in the Kingdom.
The minister welcomed the Ambassador of the United States of America, stressing the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to strengthen historical and strategic relations with the United States, as well as to expand cooperation and develop frameworks for joint coordination on various issues.
The Minister also praised the friendly bilateral relations of development and prosperity that serve common interests at all levels, and commended the Ambassador's efforts to develop relations between the two friendly countries, wishing the Ambassador of the United States of America further success.
US Ambassador expressed his thanks for the cooperation and appreciation he had received during his tenure as Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued development and prosperity.
