Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman al-Safadi

Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman al-Safadi on Wednesday received a phone call from his Yemeni counterpart Abdulmalik al-Mekhlafi during which they discussed the latest developments in Yemen and prospects for resolving the crisis in this Arab country.
Ayman al-Safadi emphasized the importance of improving the humanitarian conditions in Yemen and reaching a political solution to the crisis based on the UN Security Council No. 2216 (2015) and the GCC Initiative.
The Yemeni minister said he appreciated the Jordanian government’s approval of the temporary relocation of the office of the UN secretary general’s special envoy to Yemen from New York to Amman.
