Nairobi - MENA

Egypt's Prime Minister Hisham Qandil arrived here on Tuesday leading a high-ranking delegation to take part in the swearing-in ceremony of Kenya's fourth President Uhuru Kenyatta. Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi delegated Qandil to attend the ceremony in affirmation of bilateral relations binding the two countries. During the visit, Qandil will hold talks with senior Kenyan officials on bilateral relations and means of bolstering them in the various fields. Qandil's visit to Kenya comes as part of the Egyptian interest in the African dimension in its foreign relations especially with the Nile basin countries topped by Kenya.
