Egyptian Defense minister opens door to new batch of army recruits

Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi has announced that enrollment of a new batch of recruits will start as of December 26.
Recruits should have a high school degree, its equivalents or a technical education diploma, said Mohieldin Kamal Abdel Aleem, the director of the recruitment department, Wednesday.
The applicants must be unmarried, born to Egyptian parents and not less than 15 years or over 25 years of age, he added.
