President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaiklha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received today Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Qi Zhenhong.
They discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation mainly in the cultural field. They also reviewed the main functions that will be carried out by BACA, including "the Chinese Cultural Days" which coincide with the 68th anniversary of China's National Day. BACA will organise many cultural programmes from September 27 to October 5 in cooperation with the Chinese Ministry of Culture and the Chinese embassy in Bahrain.
The Chinese ambassador praised cultural cooperation between Bahrain and China, pointing out the role of BACA in producing joint cultural works reflecting the culture and civilisation of the two brotherly countries.
