Assar heads for Pakistan to participate in IDEAS exhibit

Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed el Assar leaves here later Sunday for Pakistan to participate in the 9th IDEAS exhibition, which will be held in Karachi.

The four-day event will kick off on Tuesday with the participation of 338 companies from 38 states, in addition to 85 official delegations.

The visit comes at the invitation of the Pakistani minister of military production.

Assar will hold a series of meeting on the sidelines of the exhibit as part of distinguished relations between Egypt and Pakistan.

IDEAS, a biennially held defense exhibition, brings together all the industry's players across the globe to showcase the latest technological innovations in the field of military equipment.
