Nabil el-Arabi condemns Israeli attacks in Syria

The Arab League has urged the UN Security Council to take an immediate action to stop Israel's aggression on Syria. In a statement released on Sunday, Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Arabi condemned the Israeli shelling of Syrian territories. Arabi warned against the serious repercussions of the Israeli military aggression and called on the UNSC to immediately move to halt these violations and prevent their recurrence. He also denounced such flagrant transgression and considered it a serious violation of the sovereignty of an Arab state, warning that such hostile acts would further complicate the situation in Syria and endanger the whole the region.
