AL chief arrives in Algeria for Arab summit preparations

Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby arrived Sunday in Algiers on a two-day visit to discuss preparations for the Arab summit due in Sharm el Sheikh on March 28-29.
"The significance of the upcoming summit lies in the threats Arabs face today," Araby told reporters upon arrival.
Earlier in the day, Deputy Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed bin Helli told Algerian radio the visit of Araby is meant to consult Algeria's President Abdelaziz Bouteflika on the regional developments ahead of the summit.
