Abu Dhabi Media Company is an inseparable part of the development taking place in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, and will continue to carry out its mission of building awareness, preparing future generations and keeping pace with government initiatives in various sectors, said Dr. Ali bin Tamim, Director-General of the company today.

Its ambitions are being backed by guidance from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and followed up by H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, he said following a meeting with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi at Qasr Al Bahr Palace.

"Priorities of the media today is to present a true image and live up to the ambitions of the society by adopting a media rhetoric that respects the foundations of this society and launching leading initiatives which effectively interact with the minds and hearts of the public and take into consideration the aspirations of the youth who are the core of development and progress," Bin Tamim said.

During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said that the UAE leadership is looking forward to a national media industry that lives up to the standards of achievements and rises to the challenges while keeping pace with modern technology to strengthen its mission, reflect the image of the country’s progress, and project and support the UAE’s regional and international causes.

"Media organisations should also nurture and empower young talents to rise to the national responsibilities and contribute effectively towards development," he said while receiving the company’s delegation.

Ali bin Tamim said listening to H.H. Sheikh Mohamed speaking about his vision for the media, politics, development and culture during the meeting inspired all the company's delegation members to derive determination and strong will to go for more achievements in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE.
