Abdul-Marouf Attends of Defence Industries Fair in USA

Chief of Joint Staffs, Gen. Kamal Abdul-Marouf who is visiting the United States of America , witnessed the closing session of the Defence Industries Exhibition and a forum organized by the US Army with participation of 82 countries from different parts of the world.
In press statements to military media in Washington, the Chief of Joint Staffs said the fair was opportunity to meet with commanders of armies and chiefs of staff from different countries and that it would boost Sudan relations in all fields.
He added that the exhibition also availed opportunity to know the most modern equipment and military technologies as wellas exchange of information.
The Chief of Joint Staff will hold a series of meetings with officials at US Department of Defence and take part in Conference on Combating Violent Extremism to be organized by Washington during October 15-16.
