Houthi militias ask Yemeni tribes to open Women training camps
Sana’a - Abdul Ghani Yahya

Saleh&Houthis militias opened camps to train women after thousands of recruitments escaped to avoid war. They opened these camps to make the Yemeni tribes save these women and give their sons instead to fight for them

Saudi Press Agency said that, sources inside Yemen said that Houthi militias take groups of girls after convincing their parents they are going to receive a medical training to unknown places and start training them to hold weapons and pay them amounts of money to help recruiting other women.

Media sources said that, the militias use these women to enter specific houses to gather information in order to know the status of these houses to force taxes on them, apply compulsory recruitment or extort the owners to buy money to keep their children from being sent to fronts to fight. These Houthi women speak many accents to gather as much information as they can from different places. They were also distributed in different social occasions.

Number of activists expressed their resentment over such degrading actions, saying that Houthis use these women to suppress demonstrations or to plant mines in some targeted locations. They added that, Houthi extortion operations increased lately especially in Sana’a, and the ones who refuse to pay go to prison without any trials based on unfounded accusations. Media recently showed that, the central prison in Sana’a which is controlled by Houthis has dozens of women prisoners who have been in prison for years and without any trails.
