The appointment of a German woman of Arab origin as the German Foreign Ministry spokesperson reflects Arab community's success to amalgamate into the European community. The Arab community considered appointing Sawsan Shalabi
, of Palestinian origin, in this sensitive post as an honor to all Arab women.
