Thousand and One Nights Collection

Breathtaking collection Iconic abaya designer Lamya Abedin took her inspiration from the famous oriental tale 1,001 Nights, for her collection dedicated to Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr 2012. The 85 piece collection is a great combination of brightly colored accents with the traditional silhouettes that have come to be identified with the region's rich heritage. The designer has also used new techniques such as tie dyes, block and screen printing. One could also see abrand new belt technique in the new collection, the “Mindeel belt” which is created by using a scarf.
