The 27-year-old actor, best known for his role in HBO's "Game of Thrones" is the face of the luxury shoemaker in a range of campaigns revealed this week.
Jon Snow's been shot! But worry not, fantasy fans, it's just actor Kit Harington, and he's only been shot by fashion snapper Peter Lindbergh. The British actor is the face of the Jimmy Choo men's Fall/Winter 2014 campaign, photographed by Lindbergh in a modernist Los Angeles mansion designed by famed architect John Lautner.
"Kit was the perfect choice for the campaign -- he has an innate confidence and projects a playfully rebellious nature," explained Sandra Choi, Jimmy Choo's Creative Director. "He has an overtly masculine style that feels effortlessly cool and a great sense of humour, and beneath that intensity he is a true gentleman."
Alongside the main footwear campaign, Harington also shows off the brand's collaboration with Carrera on a sunglasses capsule, and is also the face of the brand's debut men's scent.
The campaign images will break in the September issues globally, accompanied by an exclusive behind-the-scenes interview which may be viewed at www.jimmychoo.com
The London-based star also appears in a film directed by Eli Born and soundtracked by The War on Drugs' "Red Eye."
