The Libyan Minister of Economy, Ahmed Alkoshly, confirmed that the meeting dealt with talks concerning the return of Turkish companies to Libya, explaining that it has been confirmed that these companies will resume their contracts and projects, which were interrupted during last year’s civil war.
Alkoshly, stated that the issue of compensating the Turkish companies for halting their projects will be tied to the circumstances which accompanied that period and will be dealt with according to international standards. Alkoshly, added that Libya respects all covenants, treaties and international agreements and is keen to complete these projects.
