Soweliam blames BM for disaffected youth
Cairo - Hany Badreldin

Soweliam blames BM for disaffected youth Egypt has not witnessed a single improvement in its economic development since the ascent of President Mohammed Morsi, according to former presidential candidate Amr Moussa’s adviser Ashraf Soweilam.
“The Egyptian state could be overthrown due to the absence of a serious, inclusive model for economic growth,” Soweilam claimed, criticising the current Muslim Brotherhood-led government for sidelining young people and the unemployed.
Writing in an opinion piece in London’s Financial Times newspaper, Moussa’s political adviser also claimed President Morsi’s government had adopted a similar economic policy to its predecessor, ousted dictator Hosni Mubarak.
“The Muslim Brotherhood has undermined the revolution by transferring political and economic authority from a closed group to another one,” Soweilam said.
Amr Moussa leads Egypt’s multi-party secularist Motammer (“Conference”) Party.
