Qatari money will be used on roads and houses Gaza's Reconstruction Committee has signed an agreement with Egypt’s Arab Contractor Company to rebuild the Gaza Strip, using Qatar's $400 million grant. Egyptian Housing Minister Tarek Wafik said that both Egypt and Qatar are willing to take necessary measures to ease Palestinian suffering. He added that the agreement was based on Qatar's financial commitments, with the aim of building roads and housing units.
The minister revealed that Qatar chose the Arab Contractor Company after analysing its good work on construction projects in Egypt.
