Morocco's national football team
Rabat - Mohammed Khaled
Morocco's national football team Morocco's national football team has slipped from 74th to 77th in the latest FIFA global rankings released on Wednesday. The Atlas Lions' three-place drop is down to a poor month of results which saw them lose 3-1 to Tanzania, a result which significantly hampered their chances of World Cup qualification.
In terms of other Arab nations, Algeria remained 35th, with Tunisia in 42nd place.
Spain and Germany showcased their global supremacy by holding the top two spots, followed by Argentina in the third.
The biggest surprise of the month was the decline of Brazil, sitting in 22nd, one place below Ghana.
