The Algerian team are ranked 34th worldwide The Algerian football team continued their rise to the top ranking position amongst Arab football teams in the monthly rankings issued by FIFA. They exceeded Libya's team by four places, occupying the 34th rank worldwide with a  total of 693 points. The Algerian team came third out of all African nations.
While Spain continued occupying the world leader spot with a total of points 1,605 followed by the German team with 1,474 while England achieved a remarkable progress by occupying the third level with 1,294 points.
Ivory Coast was the top African team in 16th place and 939 points.
